The Cost of Freedom

Many people think of Memorial Day as the beginning of summer.  But lets not forget what it's really all about.

They selflessly paid the ultimate price.

And while we're at it, we could take some time to pray for the men and women of our armed forces all over the world who cannot be with their families on this holiday because they continue to fight to keep us free.

       

And as long as we're praying we should remember the families and loved ones who are celebrating this holiday without their husband, wife, son, daughter, mother, father, aunt, uncle, cousin, neighbor,or friend.

I pray that they are blessed with the safe return of their personal heroes, but if things should turn out differently, I pray for them to be blessed with the peace that passes all understanding - knowing that their loved one gave their life willingly and without reserve, simply because they believed in preserving our freedom no matter the cost.


Please take a look at this video - it pretty much says it all.  And while you're watching... remember...honor them... pray for those they've left behind, and pray for those soldiers still on the front lines.
