Where's the Line to see Jesus?

RE Published 12-20-15

With all the busyness of the Holidays - shopping, decorating, wrapping gifts, baking cookies, etc. etc. etc. -

-every now and then, the very reason
- slips our minds...

I was actually tempted to post a short comment on my Facebook profile which was going to say:
"Feeling a bit bah-humbug here."

I'm sure the reason for this "feeling" is because all this busyness can be a bit overwhelming.  However, instead of getting on Facebook, I opened my email and received an awesome reminder from my husband's aunt.  I've seen this video before, and perhaps some of you have as well.  Please take the time to listen to it.  It will be well worth it, even if you've seen/heard it before.  It is such a great reminder!

  1. I understand the Bah-Humbug feeling all to well. I think the commercialized holiday season has got me down. Focusing on Christ and the reason we celebrate the season really does help though.

  2. Hi Sharon,
I enjoyed my visit at your blog this morning. Yes, it is easy to lose sight of the real reason behind all the Christmas festivities. Since my husband passed away three years ago, Christmas has become a much sober, less hectic, more quiet, more simple (definitely much less elaborate) event for me. Ernie (my hubby) was the one who raved about Christmas... such a cheerful soul he was. But with him now home in heaven, I have been enjoying doing Christmas my way. Missing him definitely, but also doing without the trimmings of this season. Thank you for the creative way you did this post. Short and direct to the point.

Thank you too for the video clip, it's taking a while to download, so I'll view it later.

Thanks too for dropping by my blog place, and deciding to be a regular reader! I really appreciate that, Sharon.

May God's rich and warm presence surround you and your loved ones this Advent season.

    Blessings,
    Lidia
